Black Girls Rock!

I was poking around the internet a moment ago on Digg. On page 2 was a link titled: "Bitches love Dolfins". I immediately ended my search on that site right then and there. How dare some stranger try to decimate me by making such a phrase?  This senseless debasing shit has to stop.
Furthermore, the pathetic attempt to sublimate women in the guise of humor has got to stop.

Luckily, my next google search had more success.  My next stop was at Black Girls Rock! Black Girls Rock! is a non-profit organization fixed on helping to mentor and encourage the healthy development of pre-pubescent and teenage girls. http://blackgirlsrockinc.com/live/
Part of the programs that they provide include:
-Black Girls Rock! QUEENS’ CAMP: FOR LEADERSHIP & EXCELLENCE,
-Black Girls Rock!‘I Rhyme Like a Girl’: the writing, critical thinking, creativity, and social expression program in Brooklyn NY
-THE BLACK GIRLS ROCK! College Tour
-'I Rhyme Like A Girl' Poetry Workshop
and...
-THE BLACK GIRLS ROCK! Scratch DJ Academy

These programs are all designed to foster self-esteem, self-love and to push the girls to reach new intellectual heights.

They have t-shirts for sale. They boast that their t-shirt was worn on Real Housewives of Atlanta. Unfortunately, they're going to have to dig a LOT deeper for self-respect than that if they want to prove their point.

However, I then found the Black Girls Rock! Pledge, and my confidence in the organization was restored. Written by the sunny Dr. Iyanla Vanzant, the pledge is demand for self-love and self-actualization, something every teen girl should possess. http://blackgirlsrockinc.com/live/node/46

"Seems kinda silly. Why would this organization be needed?" some may say.

Because somebody on a computer decided to underestimate every woman they know by writing "bitches love dolfins".
That's why.
